Did you know: The chainsaw in DOOM was modelled off of Tom Hall’s Eager Beaver chainsaw. It leaked oil, and so was kept in a bowl in the id offices. Tom still has it!💛

I really don't know how this game got missed at the time. People look back at it as a great, but it was (at least as I recall) seen as a knock off GTA clone... I honestly think this is better than any of the GTA games.

First console I remember playing was a Sega Megadrive (Genesis in US) in Currys or Dixon's, never had one. First I owned was a PS3.

I don't expect answers... I can't expect help... I just want to shout into the void and hope it makes me feel better.

For god's sake, it's got @markhamillofficial.bsky.social as the best joker (don't @ me, Heath Ledger is good, but Hamill is better) and... I just couldn't get into it. Life is better! Wife is getting better, daughter is getting help, I've got a job... So why is it all so hollow.

Can someone tell me how to relax again, please? I'm so stressed right now, and I shouldn't be. I can't switch off, I can't even game any more - went for a replay of Arkham Asylum and I couldn't get into it, just felt hollow. I mean, that's a top-10 game!

The Wall Looks Permanent Until It Falls On the optimism of preparation in a time of democratic decay.

I'm not American, but I sure hope you guys sort this shit out, because where America goes, the UK goes in a couple of decades or less, and I really don't want to change all... [Stoic to Hiccup] this.

Every time I think about it, I'm reminded...

... Space is Big.

It's nearly the new year. I've got a job, starting on the 5th! Yay! I've busted my knee, because you can't have something good without experiencing something bad...

I'm so tired.

And we're going to a new year's eve party where everyone is expected to stay up. Did I mention I was tired?

A man is not a man without a pork bun...

Hope you enjoyed it, it's a fantastic story and gameplay combo I go back and play occasionally.

There are so many theories and so much depth in that movie - I've watched it quite a few times, now, after my girlfriend (now wife) introduced me to it. It's a fascinating read... sort of like an SCP-based story before that was a thing.

Why can I not do things? I want to play a bit of gaming. I've got a good half an hour, maybe an hour. I've no real other plans. Instead... I'm posting on Bsky, which I've no real desire to do. I'm browsing the web.

I just... hate my brain sometimes. It's stupid and annoying.

I read that as "Late Night Dessert Factory", and was wondering - where, what makes it a dessert factory, why that specifically and spent far too long trying to figure it out.

Cool animation. Stupid viewer.

Either way, promising to see more super cool cars coming.

From the rumours (And I hope they're true), they're the 'advanced' version of this GT, a new LFA. And let's hope they tune the exhaust the same way as the original LFA!

If nothing else (And there's lots else to enjoy about that awesome game), it brought Sea Shanties back into common enjoyment, and without that, we wouldn't have had Peyton Parish's awesome voice.

A screenshot of a Steam review of Little Rocket Lab by LazerFX. "This is such a cute little cozy-Factorio. I mean - honestly, it's like someone crossed Star Dew Valley with Factorio and a touch of Satisfactory (So. Many. Conveyorbelts!) Sure, there could be more depth - but it's a cozy game! Sure, it could be easier - but it's a Factorio-like. The characters are lovely, the world is nicely realised and there's lots to keep you going - and rebuilding, and restructuing and... huh, maybe if I move these things around I can make 100% utilisation?

I'm no where near completed, but I'm enjoying it so far."

The review has a thumbs up.

And to prove it - I wrote a review.

I love Little Rocket Lab - been playing it with my daughter. I honestly don't see any 'forced DEI' in it - it's just natural, homey life. Love it, thanks!

First Ebuyer, now Crucial/Micron... I'm tired, boss... I'm tired.

Their memory has never quite been the all-out speed champion, but it's always been reliable and dependable for me; and that's always been the important thing - all-out speed is great, but if it causes the computer to freeze up or have issues, it's not worth it.

After nearly 30 years, Crucial will stop selling RAM to consumers Micron cites AI data center demand as reason for killing DIY upgrade brand.

Well that sucks... I've used Crucial Ballistix in a bunch of builds, and recommend it for others.

I'm not going to ask, but I am going to thank you for posting this - I've been seeing lots of people doing it, found a 'wrapped' from 2024 that doesn't work, and another one from this year that also doesn't work... was just about to drop a post in and then you provided an actual link - so, Thanks!

It was cheaper than a Blu Ray drive - which is how I justified it... was my first console, having been PC-only since '91.

Lose mother in law. Lose job. Boiler leaking.

What is next? I've had enough.

It's the way most stories are told though - "I've been through trials, so now I can boss everyone else around".

Naive, but humorous when played straight like this.
