A truly amazing talent. He seemed "ancient"* when I saw him, but in fact he was only in his early 40s! But RO just seemed to belong to a different time. So glad I made the effort, and I bet you are as well.
*My ageist perspective. His performances never faltered.

Truly phenomenal.
I'm just so happy that Orbison was able to enjoy a late career resurgence. To be rediscovered and celebrated after what had been a long difficult stretch of obscurity, personal problems, and financial difficulties.
I saw Orbison open for The Eagles. (This was the "Long Run" tour, and truth be told, I was there to see Roy.) The crowd was unruly and rude; booing and throwing rbage onstage. To his credit, Joe Walsh walked out and told people to STFU, behave, and show the "great man" some respect.
When we look back across human history, it is the artists that endure. Creative and open-minded, it is they, not the politicians who define the times. Case in point: Everyone knows "Dickens' London", but few know who the mayor or PM were at the time.
An image on a dashboard that shows -4° but it actually looks like someone sitting on a toilet. Wife: "The car is not starting. Dashboard shows the sign of a person sitting on toilet." Husband: "What...?? Send me a picture.".
Things that make you go hmmmm?
🤣😂🤣
Trump—a man of peace and patience! Actually, more likely the military told him they needed time to check inventory and reload.

I'd add angry bumper stickers to this list. Meanwhile, back in Canada ...
I was just rewatching The Big Lebowski, and had forgotten that this song was part of the soundtrack. A real forgotten classic.

The US desperately needs a deal to salvage Trump's plummeting numbers over his "handling" of the economy.

Kurt Vonnegut had a story about a space alien (Zog) that comes to the US with a warning of imminent danger. Unfortunately, Zog's mode of communication is based on farting and tap-dancing, which offends people so much that he's beaten to death with a golf club before he can relay the warning.
Something I blame Cook for.
Yeah, pretty amazing. Unfortunately, people tend to dismiss anything that doesn't look like us as stupid. So if/when the aliens arrive, they'll need to tap into that AI Val Kilmer technology if they want to be taken seriously. Showing up as newt won't get you into the UN, even on a slow day.
Octopuses break all the rules on animal intelligence. Born into the world as orphans, they are self-taught masterminds; capable of solving complex problems, strategizing, even planning for the future. Extraordinary superpowers that are the secret to their success.
Did not know that about you. Well, here's a little treat I think you'll enjoy (if you haven't already seen it). Amazing creatures, and incredible cinematography.

I've been less than impressed by his tenure. There was a time when Apple stood for innovation and independence, and not just monetizing smart phones.
The Atlantic should offer him a case of Bud if he's willing to settle out of court.

Have fun, and don't skip the bull.
They're on a retainer, so I want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth.
The kind of photo you send home to your parents as proof that you've "made it", along with a note asking them to stop bugging you about taking the exam to work at the post office so that you'll have something to fall back on.
That was my impression of you. I just wanted to have some fun by framing it as a game of tag.

I just ran this past "legal", and yes, technically this falls under "random acts of kindness". Tag! Now it's your job to pay it forward.
