at FC I asked @ishaway.bsky.social if she’d made prints of a lovely Anubis painting she did in 2022. To my surprise, she offered me the original instead! Moral of the story: if you like a particular work an artist did years ago, ask them about it - it may still be looking for a home

I started The Way of Zen some time again and still haven't finished it - never read any other book I took so many notes from; a couple pages a day is enough to meditate on. Certainly influences a kind of revolutionising of one's way of thinking

FC was very chill this year. I met w/fewer people but the quality was much higher overall. Enjoyed seeing several close friends, one nice new boy, and had a couple good DD conversations about Anubis with artists. Unsure if I’ll be back next year…depends how my efforts to become a dad progress
