Are you in possession of an 11-14 year old interested in animation? We've got a stop-motion workshop combining archives and Aardman animations (!!!!) 7 Feb. A responsible adult MUST come along and join in (oh no).

Next Friday is the final of my LIS research seminars this term.
I loved hearing about this research earlier in the year so I invited Gillian Siddall to join us to talk about "Using visual research methods to explore the student experience - photovoice for research."

personally the one I find the flavour best for is Options Hot Chocolate, so that's what i tend to use, and I add a little extra cold milk to make it extra creamy and to cool it down.
I know I don't know you, but wanted to say you are not failing. You're doing the best you can in tough situations. You are doing amazing things, all of you were dressed and set to go and importantly the kids know they are loved despite some shouting. More than a lot of kids have.
Early start, on the train to Salford for a day about e-resources in Alma. Currently en route to Crewe, then to Manchester and finally Salford Crescent, about an hour and a half early for the day but better than the next train I could get which would have me arrive late! Wonder when I will wake up?!
Thanks for sharing, have just went the recommendation to my colleagues and we're now ordering a couple of copies for our library!
I've not tried them but you can apparently get hair wash caps, like shower caps that allow you to wash your hair if you're unable to get into hell the shower/bath, have seen then on Amazon but other places also sell them: www.superdrug.com/hair/shampoo...
But just think of all the baby librarians you're going to be able to train and impart wisdom to! I'm sure that lecturer Darren will be just as fabulous as librarian Darren! :)
Parc de la Tête d'or is amazing, I didn't have time to do much sightseeing when I was there but it was a little slice of heaven to sit in the Parc and watch the world go by. There's a fab lake, and a zoo, plus botanical gardens and so much more I ran out of time to explore and it's all free!
this is what I get for trying to eat something moderately healthy...bite into a lovely looking nectarine only to find it's either been bruised or is way past ripe as it's not at all sweet, is mushy but not juicy. Back to chocolate me thinks - chocolate never lets me down like that!
Was never a regular poster on X so have been struggling with what to post here - call it a crisis of confidence. However, so far this place seems nice, still trying to figure it all out really. won't post often I suspect, but at least I'm here right. :)
