Two images stacked
Top is a pink and shiny half-naked and possibly intoxicated Alex Jones standing around in a studio, having lost his shirt. There a bloke sat at a desk looking slightly confused.

Lower image is the new Infowars logo which now has rainbow neon letters and The Onion logo where the O is.
It's just beautiful

One of the most appealing aspects of this rooftop, vertical bifacial PV system is that there's no need for ballast nor roof penetrations either.

I mean most Culture citizens change sex at least once and you kinda get the sense that there’s some not-secret-at-all orgy going on in the next room in any scenes taking place on a Culture ship/orbital.

I'm tracking 5 cases filed under Executive Order 14260: Protecting American Energy from State Overreach. What am I missing?
-VT and NY climate superfund laws
-HI and MI (dismissed) to prevent filing complaints against fossil fuel cos.
-Morris Township, NJ ban on fossil fuels in new buildings

I’d normally recommend coming to Vermont to soothe whatever ales ail ya, but a) we have a lot of amazing NEIPAs and b) the great malt porters, Scotch ales and stouts that were once common are more rare these days.

TLDR I have no solutions for you.

It can't be said often enough, so I'll say it again:

Solar and batteries can power the world! It's cheaper than gas (esp. at today's prices) and a lot more reliable.

By 2030, solar and batteries could supply 90% of electricity to 80% of the world's population for < €80/MWh (including backup).

And still: the old web was good in so many ways for so long. The Tron-pilled amongst us held the line. When we build a new, good, post-American internet, we're going to need a multitude of Tron-pilled technologists, old and young, who build, maintain - and, above all, *defend* it.

I remember @doctorow.pluralistic.net saying something like the only thing people 100 years from now will think about us is why we didn’t do anything about climate change. All of the things we think are important and historic today, they won’t care.

It's obvious now that solar and batteries are going to be the cheapest, most reliable, and least volatile way to expand a power grid. Increasing dependence on fossil gas generation now—as many governments are contemplating—would be a terrible mistake, both economically and geopolitically.

Sincerely… NASA couldn’t have chosen a better team of people for this mission. They have been a bright light in the shadowy time here. It’s been a joy to watch.

As I have been saying, the damage to aluminum supply chains is done. And the impact to US consumers of aluminum products will be steeper than the rise in LME futures...thanks to Donald Trump's tariffs.
