I went back to California in 2025 to visit Cars Land and Galaxy's Edge.

The visit was more to keep myself busy, as I was all by myself in California. Chuck was not feeling well. He stayed in St. Louis.

I went to San Diego to visit the Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder at the Comic-Con Museum.

Because Chuck stayed at the hotel in March 2020, I took him to Galaxy's Edge in California in 2023.

I felt he missed out and needed to see the attraction.

We visited Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland. When we were done with that section of the park, we left.

It was not until Galaxy's Edge opened that I thought about Disney Parks. Disney had changed at that point. Everything had to be reserved months in advance.

It was March 2020. Chuck was not feeling well. I went to the Orlando park by myself.

A few days later the Disney parks closed due to COVID.

In 2015, I took Chuck to EPCOT as I thought he might enjoy the shops and restaurants. I recall he had a good time.

The next day we visited the Magic Kingdom.
We had lunch at Beast’s Castle.
We visited The Haunted Mansion.

We looked around the park and rode the riverboat ride before leaving.

The next Disney park I visited was California Adventure in 2013 to visit Cars Land. It was Chucks first visit to a Disney park.

Later that day, we visited Disneyland. We both visited The Haunted Mansion. I visited Star Tours, while Chuck saw the re-release of Captain EO.

That was it.

The 21st Century Begins October 1, 1982. Walt Disney World: EPCOT Center.

My first Disney park was EPCOT in the mid 90's, I was in my mid 20's. I just didn't connect with the attractions.

All I remember are shops and restaurants in each of the featured countries.

I was disappointed, I really enjoyed watching the opening of the park broadcast on network television.

I wonder if I would be a 'Disney Gay,' if my parents could have afforded to take us to Disney parks when we were kids.

The parks just don't any compelling connection for me. Perhaps because they don't hold any nostalgia for me.
