Does running late count as cardio? Because I hit Olympic speed the moment I saw that parking lot full. Forgot it was Thursday. Forgot we had a meeting. But the panic sprint? VERY real. Slid in only 10 minutes late, gracefully chaotic. First late meeting of the year? Nailed it. Starting strong…ish.

I don’t want to be dramatic, but if coffee doesn’t happen soon, we might have a situation. Dragging today like a Wi-Fi signal in the middle of nowhere. ☕️ Send help… preferably in a large cup with extra caffeine and a side of sunshine and a tiny bit of magic. ☕️✨
Appointments checked off, laundry washed, folded, and packed, morning walk complete, and shower out of the way. Now it’s time to grab the next book on my list and dive in before heading out.
☕️ thoughts:
Some will forget your kindness;
some will mishandle your heart.
But how they treat you speaks only of them.
How you love, how you care,
that is the truest reflection of you.
Never confuse their shadows for your light.
You are already enough
Caught a mama and her fawn quietly exploring. They walked into my yard and still acted like I was the guest 😁. As I sipped my coffee and soaked in the perfect weather, nature reminded me how to slow down and smile.
We move through moments unaware, never knowing how even the smallest, most innocent actions might leave an imprint. What fades from our memory in an instant could become something another soul holds onto forever.
Nothing gets me out of bed for an 8am appointment… except the promise of cold brew. Caffeine bribery at its finest.
Happy Thursday! 🌞 Grateful for fresh coffee, good vibes, and one step closer to the weekend. Let’s make today count! 💛✨ #ThursdayThoughts #Gratitude
You can call yours yoga pants if that helps you sleep at night.
Mine? Oh, these are coffee-sipping, book-flipping, movie-marathon pants.
With this rainy weather? Yoga pants it is.
Namaste… right here on the couch.
Dodgers beat the Mets 7-5 in 13 innings, just before 1 a.m. East Coast time. Yes, I stayed up late like someone who clearly has commitment issues… with sleep. Thankfully, no alarm tomorrow, so no caffeine zombie look. Thanks for the midnight drama, Dodgers!
Calories don’t count during Teacher Appreciation Week, right? (Pretty sure that’s in the teacher handbook…)
Thankful for the love—my heart (and belly) are full! #GratefulTeacher
Thursday Mood:
So close to the weekend, I can smell the freedom… or maybe that’s just coffee. Either way, let’s survive today with minimal effort and maximum sarcasm.
The older I get, the more I realize the importance of feeling safe in romantic relationships and friendships.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!Feeling thankful for the little moments that make this job so special:the laughs, the lightbulb moments, hugs, & the everyday chaos that somehow always turns into magic.Shoutout to all my fellow educators out there doing the work with ❤️—you're amazing & so appreciated!
I'm not much of a going-to-the-store girl....but I'm totally an online window shopper! I’ll fill up my cart, admire it like it’s mine, then quietly close the tab like nothing happened.
Atlanta forecast: 100% chance of rain so my flat iron just quietly packed itself away, and 0% chance of me doing my hair. Cool, I didn’t want to look cute anyway. Guess I’ll let my hair live its best frizzy life this weekend.
Made it to Friday y’all. Let’s end the week strong!
I think I hate bullpen games even more now… missed the game today and just caught the final score. We’re 16–9 now…I’ll take it! Boo to the stress though! 💙
Let me tell y’all, I was seriously exhausted today, but I managed to drag myself to the gym… and honestly? I feel so much better now! I hate to say it, but getting up and moving really does make a difference, lol.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is allow yourself to feel, heal, and move forward.
Hoping the Dodgers and Lakers both bring home the W today! #LetsGoDodgers #LakeShow
Working out after a work shift? Not for the faint of heart. I showed up, got it done, not my most intense workout, but felt good. The hardest part is showing up.Now the next real challenge? Dragging myself into the kitchen now to make dinner like I’m not already running on fumes. Send help… or snacks.
Ewww nope… pass for me too!
Not chasing anyone… just my goals (and maybe my weekend calories) 🫣🤣
The way someone misunderstands a moment or a message often reflects more about their inner world than the situation itself. It gently reveals their past experiences, their insecurities, their hopes. The misunderstanding itself, shows us: how they see things, how they feel, what they carry.
First day of state testing: SURVIVED.
Just four more rounds in the educational Hunger Games… and my coffee supply is already on life support. 😆😏☕️
Morning chats with my mom and sister really have me cracking up — nothing beats starting the day with good convo, coffee, and laughs. Exactly the energy I needed to start the day right.
Just wrapped up book #52 of the year! Quick read—and sure, I saw the crazy coming, but dang, I didn’t know he had a whole loyalty card at the psycho club. Anyway, time to start my weekend to-do list… really wishing laundry was half as thrilling as unhinged plot twists.
As we embrace the day, may we carry hope in our hearts & kindness in our actions. Let each moment be a chance to lift a spirit, to speak life & to be a light in someone’s day. Let today be filled with reflection, renewal & gentle strength. A quiet reminder that even in stillness, love shines bright.
Slipped into something cute, grabbed my favorite spot at the bar with great company while catching up with my boys in blue. Happiness is when my Dodgers win & they won tonight! The perfect way to unwind after a little unexpected adventure. Who says you can’t mix a good drink with a great game? #ITFDB
