250 years ago Boston had its first Town Meeting after the British evacuation on March 17, 1776. Records survive in City Archives, showing Boston's long history of democracy. As we celebrate 250 years of American Independence the Election Department will share more historic moments from City records.

Today is the last day to vote early! Today, Friday, October 31, you can vote early at City Hall from 9-5. If you can't make it to City Hall today you can still vote on Tuesday, November 4. Click "Check your voting registration status" on boston.gov/election to see your polling location.
Early voting on Thursday, October 30 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Saint Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, Florian Hall, and BCYF Tobin Community Center. Early voting from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall.
