I'm also a Greens voter & as much as I think they're not ambitious enough, they are better than the current lot.
If you want change, be strategic with your vote, especially if there's a good Labour electorate candidate & a high list Greens one.

🤣 I will not. But what I would do is suggest this as a policy to the Greens, or Labour, or even better - both!
With the long range of many of the new EVs, even without the gentailers, every accommodation with some forward thinking will install chargers.
If there was a mandate, the gentailers will get their finger out of wherever it is currently stuck and invest in fast chargers as there's a profit to make.
Or, you know, the govt could mandate that too.
I will not hold my breath though.
You know what could flood the 2nd hand EV market without costing the govt anything? Mandating rental vehicles to be EVs only.

I'm still grumpy that the mistake Labour did was to not use the fiscal tool called tax because they were, and still are, terrified of angering those who only voted for them because they knew Labour would save their literal life.
That's it. It all came down due to not taxing the profits back.

There are so many new homes around us being built now, and none have solar installed. We're talking about a suburb that has town houses sold for $1.7m! Some of them have fittings for gas, but no solar 🤦🏽♀️

I'd like to see a suggestion to sell these businesses to staff at a cost of $1. If I understand it correctly, these used to be successful local businesses that were then sold to international corporations. Make it a co-op to supply Aotearoa only.
