One week back at work. Coventry got the point needed to guarantee Premier League football next season. Saturday we did a Monet workshop, me and Arlo watched Rugby Town play Bedworth. Sunday was an early start at work #Week28

Easter break. Finley ran for Sphinx at Sutton Park. We went to London, Finley and Arlo love public transport. Matilda the musical was brilliant. The house and garden got a tidy. Chany had her birthday. My right heel feels ruined, will my HRV ever recover? #Week27
Better running week. Given a Roblox life lesson. Watched Coventry pull further away at the top of the Championship. Finley and Arlo came to see me at work Sunday so they could play pickleball #Week26
Mollie’s Friday night in Bristol. Blaise Castle parkrun Saturday, really pretty through the woods on one side. Visit to Ashton Gate for a Cov win. Boys ran well at junior parkrun. Finley even wanted to run on the track after school today as Sphinx was off #Week24
Ok week back at work after half term. Work and football Saturday. Sunday volunteered at junior parkrun which had a record breaking 182 runners. Took my bike to be serviced. Running to work this morning I saw a woman wandering in traffic so contacted the police about her #Week23
Steady half term. Coventry getting back to back wins improved the mood. Lovely couple of days visiting Silverstone Museum with a stay at Escapade overlooking the track. Really cool experience to be able to run the circuit and walk it with the family #Week22
Have to stay committed 💪
Probably boring for most but I got to 520 weeks on Strava #running
Really busy at the gym Saturday, no car parking spaces 🤯 Sunday boys went to final cross country of the season and ran really well. We went to IKEA afterwards for meatballs. Meal of champions #Week21
Over half way through another academic year. Worked Saturday. Sunday all about Arlo, he had a lovely day doing junior parkrun and then seeing family and friends for his 10th birthday party #Week20
Really good to have a change of scenery for the weekend. Cambridge is a lovely city with some interesting buildings and history. Boys loved punting on the River Cam. Aromi had excellent pizza 👌 #Week19
1p shirt day Saturday, worth the queue for me and @chantellecgrant. Coventry then beat Leicester. Sunday worked early, missed the rain #Week18
One week back, pretty cold week weather wise. Worked Saturday. Watched the boys run cross country at Pingles Sunday, Arlo’s best finish of the season. Today Finley was thrilled with his run at Sphinx #Week17
Quite quiet Christmas break try to rest and recharge. Visit to Lapland UK and to do The Snowman trail at Baddesley Clinton around Christmas. Very cold morning to go back to school but nice to have some snow on the floor #Week16
Boys ran Warwickshire cross country championships Saturday before football. Sunday was chilled, bauble making at Hobbycraft and a pantomime in Redditch. Tested chip timing for Sphinx this evening #Week15
Three day weekend. Managed to sort bits in the garden and get the boss’ Dahlias up for winter. Did parkrun Saturday and visited Santa. Sunday boys ran cross country at Newbold Revel, they were great in tough conditions #Week14
That’s the real issue or if the route has to regularly stop for side roads because the route isn’t to modern standards.
Every day I commute to work I got a mile out of my way going and nearly two miles going home to cycle segregated routes in Coventry but most wouldn’t do that.
Where appropriate cycle infrastructure is in place it gets used but Warwickshire has very little continuous good infrastructure, meaning people are forced to cycle in the road. Most people if there was the option of cycle lane or road would take cycle lane.
@coventrylive.bsky.social article about people getting injured in roads has some interesting comment #cycling #activetravel
Christmas party Friday, a little tired Saturday for football. Sunday morning Santa Dash at Packington Hall followed by choosing a Christmas tree at Friezeland Farm #Week13
Miserable weather in the week, same on Saturday. Luckily able to leave work early Saturday to get dry before the football, another City win. Sunday at the garden centre. Today met with the head, which was positive #Week12
Massive rain last week, didn’t make cycling that enjoyable. John, you’re going to geography. Manage to get the shummerhouse water tight with some help. Very cold start to the week #Week11
Interesting conditions yesterday on the bike.
Apologies academic week fans, I missed last week. Basically all of half term was consumed constructing the shed/summerhouse. First week back was ok. Boys ran brilliantly yesterday at Warley Wood on a very hilly course in West Mids cross country league #Week10
Two children cycling on cycleway in the rain.
“No one will cycle when it’s wet” Safer infrastructure is so important to encourage a new generation to make healthier and greener choices #bikeisbest #bikelife #lovetorife @coventrycc.bsky.social
City win again! Carl Rushworth was brilliant today. Numerous saves but one towards the end of the first half was incredible, he flew across the goal #PUSB
Pretty steady week and only one to go for October half term. Coventry got to 10 games unbeaten on Saturday, great start to the season with two more goals to take the club to 29 goals. Volunteered at War Memorial junior parkrun’s 200 event, incredible achievement #Week8
Yesterday not at our best but we still get a result #PUSB
Me and Arlo went to watch Coventry Sphinx after I’d been to work Saturday. Sunday the boys both ran for Sphinx AC in their first cross country at Walsall Arboretum. Me and @chantellecgrant.bsky.social helped out at Sphinx tonight. Sphinx weekend #Week7
