New NEA guidelines just dropped. Of note - there’s new assurances, including - if awarded: "The applicant will not operate any programs promoting “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws, in accordance with Executive Order No. 14173."

Shout out to the amazing NEA staff for their dedication and hard work over these past few wild weeks. I submitted our grant payment request 7 days ago and the funds hit our org’s bank account today!

…and the National Endowment for the Arts just canceled Challenge America grant opp entirely (“for projects that extend the reach to underserved communities”) and canceled the Grants for Arts Projects app deadline on 2/13. New guidelines to be posted by 2/10. Unclear if non “America250” will be ok.
