We did 40 minutes live and unscripted on this. I used the word "heinous" three times to describe the murder of a couple who wasn't involved in criminal behaviour. Sorry that made you laugh.

But it wasn't incendiary. Again, the show was a measured conversation about the Prime Minister's approach to Trump. Comparing it to debating the Holocaust is a grotesque exaggeration.

I understand what you're saying. We have a different perspective. Our question today launched an intelligent conversation and we don't believe it in any way undermines Canadian sovereignty.

It's a question for people to answer. It resulted in a smart, engaging conversation.

More than one in four people on Prince Edward Island do not have access to a primary care provider. The problem is most acute here but it affects millions of people across the country. It's our focus on Cross Country Checkup and The National from Charlottetown today.

When I was asked to host a conversation with Canadian best selling author Louise Penny at UBC's Chan Center, my only request was she do an interview for the Sunday National. Fortunately she agreed and it was terrific. It's on tonight and then will be posted online.

Did you listen to the show? Did you hear the voices who spoke so candidly about addiction? There was nothing remotely MAGA about anything I said. I'm so tired of the exaggerations on social media. It's the opposite of what we do on Checkup.

Every once in a while, I will respond to a particularly inexplicable insult. In what possible way did Sunday's Checkup make me a "talking head of the MAGA movement?"
