It has now been 30 days with NO humanitarian aid getting into Gaza.
No food, no water, no medicine, no fuel.
That is barbaric. The U.S. must end our complicity in these atrocities.

A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.
Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.

Current status "We are reviewing forecasts and current conditions to see if the 8:15 am sailing from Wellington on Monday 6 January will be able to operate. Customers will be notified as soon as possible if this sailing is disrupted." Given the forecast 4m swell I'm not sure if I want to go or not.

A poll from Freshwater Strategy with The Post and Sunday Star-Times shows more than one in three (37%) of New Zealand voters have seriously considered emigrating to Australia in the past 12 months.
By comparison, of Australian voters, only 8% have considered moving to New Zealand.
8% of Australia is actually more people than 37% of Aotearoa

At least to my knowledge and in my experience, this is the most benign any U.S. corporate media outlet has ever made war crimes that would destabilize the planet sound
And if you can believe it, this headline is an edit of a previous headline that coyly said Trump was "teasing" these acts of war

...especially with modifications already match most people's conceptions of an "automatic weapon". They would clearly be included in the ban being suggested. The point is that weapons of war should not be in the hands of every Tom, Dick and Harry, and with political will they could easily be banned.

I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with? What you are saying seems to be exactly along the lines of what I was saying. If someone says ban automatic weapons, and the response is that they're either already banned or prohibitively expensive, then they're ignoring the fact that MSSA's...

Isn't this essentially just semantics, given semi-automatic AR-15-style assault weapons are generally legal in the US, and are what most people probably think of when they talk about automatic weapons?
