Glad you are recovering! I hope I will somehow. I had to stop eating out when I was diagnosed with Celiac so I was already used to not doing that. I got those straw mask things so I can go to a concert soon and stay hydrated. I haven't done anything fun indoors since before the pandemic started.

This is what I do. I do not accept pushback on this issue from HCW. I've heard plenty of "wow I haven't worn a mask in years" from doctors and I tell them I find that unfortunate. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'd like to say more but I had one nurse brutalize me with an IV when I refused to let her near me without a mask.

That's terrible. I have spent a LOT of time in hospitals with. my son. I met parents like that. I never understood them.

I state when checking in that anyone who will be in a room with me needs to please mask. Some are a-holes about it, and I've had one person (nurse) refuse. I left without getting the CT scan in that case and told her I would take my business elsewhere. I refuse to take no for an answer.

I took my son to be evaluated for combined heart & liver transplant and the teams all scoffed at my requests for them to mask. This was Fall 2022. In Summer 2022 I had been infected by a HCW (and now have Long Covid).

HCWs are the worst offenders regarding masks IMO because they should know better

I have a Golden Retriever who will only humor me by retrieving one time on any given day. ONE TIME. My last two were frisbee maniacs and tennis ball fiends. This one just wants to eat frisbees, and sticks
