I'm not sure, I don't have much experience with fused glass. But it's pretty cheap to experiment with. I've never had this work with liver reds when they're not worked properly.
My hubby brought home both the bestest and funniest gift from work yesterday....his leftover coke from lunch "for your glass"😍
Perfect timing too, I have so many thistles and crocuses that need a little coke bath to bring out their fab purple colour.

Sanding day🙁 my least favourite day of the week.
Wild Blueberries are hands down my favourite summer treat. They bring back found memories of summer roadtrips growing up in Ontario, where we'd pick up a big basket on the side of the highway and the better part of it would be gone by the time we reached our destination.

little piece chipped off revealing this most gorgeous colour! After an hour of sanding and a nice coat of beeswax & oil wood finish I had my base which of course inspired the arrangement of leaves and berries. It's now available on my website along with 3 smaller cloudberry pieces.

I've had on a shelf in my studio for a few years since our camping trip to La Ronge.I wasn't planning on using it for this piece, since it was a bit too grey and cool for the rich salmon colour of the berries. But being the klutz I am, I knocked it off the shelf looking for another piece and a

In playing around with layering different transparent colours over opaques I came across this perfect cloudberry shade. And I really think the sparkle from the transparent layer evokes the feel of magic and wildness of each berry. The base is a piece of driftwood

Cloudberry furthers my recent exploration of wild northern berries and edible plants, which is inspired my nostalgia of wandering through the bush around our home in Ontario nibbling on blackberries and raspberries in my early teens.

Originally I started this piece to work through and distract myself through a stressful time last month and on a whim I entered it for a juried exhibition at our local craft council. Unfortunately it didn't make it to the second round of jurying but I am happy to be sharing it with you. 1/4
