An old tombstone that reads: DEWEY 1898 - 1910. "He was only a cat" but he was human enough to be a great comfort in hours of loneliness and pain.

For #Caturday: a poignant photo by Paul Koudounaris of a beloved pet's tombstone. Despite popular belief, the cat's name was not Dewey. This was the surname of the cat's family.

"'He was only a cat,' but he was human enough to be a great comfort in hours of loneliness and pain."

Attention Norfolk folk.

If the kids come round Trick or Treating tonight, and you don't want to open the door, just shout 'Prince Andrew Lives here now' through the letterbox to them and problem solved.

BBC under fresh pressure over extent of Reform UK coverage Nigel Farage’s party featured in considerably more News at Ten bulletins than Lib Dems over six months, study finds

Less than one percent of seats in Parliament. But featured in a quarter of news bulletins.

That's some impartiality right there BBC 👀

Manchester’s chief flag-raiser has put his people smuggling days behind him Flags protesting unchecked immigration have gone up across the city, led by a man caught smuggling migrants into the country in the back of a van

Amazing story: one of the organisers of the group putting Union Flags up around Manchester previously did time for being part of a people smuggling gang.

I’m not sure how many days it took in the end to turn the garden shed into a bar, maybe 7? It was a huge hit. Can’t find the photo of it in use on the day though
