You gotta give to the GOP.

They trained their voters to hate “libs” so much they would gratefully accept every manner of corruption, lawlessness, cruelty, ineptitude, and criminality, and cheer it on, so long as it is their team doing it.

It also looks very astroturfed.

Man, the whole "anti-woke" moral panic just looks worse & worse in the rearview mirror.

This makes too much sense and it’s not cruel. The administration would never go for it.

"Your Account is Suspended" Message on X

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X.

I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).

So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.

England fans facing hugely inflated prices to get to New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for World Cup games The cost of getting the train from New York to the venue, where the Three Lions play Panama in their final group game, will be £111 - nearly 12 times the usual fare.

DON'T COME HERE.

They kidnap people off the streets & throw them in filthy holes.

They don’t care who you are.

They don't care if you're white, either, if you think that'll save you.

They have quotas.

(It’s all about money.)

THE US IS NOT SAFE.

STAY AWAY.

Yikes! Always something…

We better wake up to what’s happening online. The right isn’t just posting anymore; they’re scaling influence with AI.

📌 AI-generated pro-Trump “influencers” are surging on social media and are starting to shape what people see and believe.

Well, no shit.

The marks have suddenly realized they’ve been conned, and now it’s too late. Look at the mess our country is in.

Yes, scale.

I do have big 'ol meat paws, but the real point here is ramekins are getting too small. 😡

I fear that the wrong people will draw the wrong conclusions from these statistics.

Am I having a stroke, or is this the very same guy who, just last year, was trying to axe every single government program that helps poor people?

I’m not misremembering, am I?

This is the billionaire who created DOGE and tried to axe Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, and Social Security.

Right?

In 10 years' time, we will all have nano-ramekins in our brains that will rearrange our neurons and make us think it's normal for crème brûlée to come in other flavors like strawberry, green tea, and chocolate.

Eventually, the ramekins will be so small, they will be injectable like Covid vax nanobots. Microplastics will seem quaint and preferable in retrospect.

I went to a fancy restaurant in Japan and, after the meal, they gave me crème brûlée in what appears to be a one-ounce ramekin.

This is an outrage! The old ways are dying.

I think there's a shadowy global cartel of dessert magnates who are shrinking ramekins.

This is correct. They are stupid.

Yet the stupids vastly outnumber us, they're easily programmed, and they vote.

The Internet broke democracy because it gave hostile foreign adversaries a way to speak directly to our dumbest voters, and no one with the power to fix this would benefit by fixing it.

The MAGA Junta will eventually be deposed. After that, all the right-wing influencers who have taken money from Russia to subvert American democracy will no longer be protected from prosecution.

What they've done is treason and we ought to make examples out of them.

kinda funny how Republican voters are inarguably happier when a Dem is president. they don’t actually want to be in charge of shit, they want to roll coal and whip themselves into a frenzy over wholly imaginary liberal tyranny. now they’ve caught the car and it fuckin sucks

Better luck next year. Maybe if we're really good serfs, they'll give us something water-soluble. 🤷‍♂️

Happy Tax Day, everyone!

These days it feels like paying a tithe directly to Satan, doesn't it? Hours of your life are converted to money, which is stolen to blow up children in Iran and build ballrooms for the Epstein Class.

I got you all a lil' present to take the edge off.

Right, which no one would ask in a traditional setting. A real human knows McDonald's is the quintessential entry-level job for a teenager.

When I was in my 20s, we had professional networking groups that met once a week. We'd invite people from different industries and help connect one another to other people we knew.

We also had social clubs to help each other out. No one does this stuff anymore! We need to bring it back!

Also, before smartphones, strangers used to actually talk to each other. Networking happened naturally because people weren't self-isolating behind earbuds and social-media interest bubbles.

"Oh, you need a job? My cousin says they're hiring over at XYZ Company! Here's his number, give him a call."
