U don’t think I ever showed off my Rafra

Idk I'm liking it well enough but if anything it's a bit mundane and like unremarkable, which kinda makes it a cozy watch if that makes sense
It's only 6 episodes though so I'd say you might as well try it
The three main mecha pilots from Adolescent Beautiful Girl Combining Robo Z-Mind standing in a row in the same neutral pose on a sparkly magical girl transformation background. There is a caption that says "we are going to beat you to death".
Good morning
Of all of the shows I watched this past weekend, this is probably my favorite mecha design
big fan of this freak
One of Ayame's unreasonably cool sisters: "This isn't an anime!"
zz-mind
I would play super robot wars if it had dirty pair in it
I've only seen the first episode but I honestly liked it. You're not the first person to say this though
Made some tweaks.
have they ever made a model kit?? I don't know what to look up because I don't even know their name
Shin Megami Tensei IV
The cover of Weezer's blue album but the four band members are replaced by the four robots from Blocker Gundan IV Machine Blaster and the text at the top says "gundan iv".
Good morning
they have a magical girl transformation sequence when they put on their pilot suits
Adolescent Beautiful Girl Fusion Robo Z-Mind: The Battling Days of the "Shitamachi" Virgins
is the real name of a real anime
space elves are also genetically engineered to be really good at baseball
Blocker Gundan IV Machine Blaster
Edit of the cover of Weezer's Blue Album where the four members of the band are replaced with four somewhat low-detail figures of characters from act 2 of Blue Comet SPT Layzner. Pat is Eiji, Rivers is Anna, Matt is Gosterro, and Brian is Julia. Also the text in the top has been edited to say "weezner".
Good morning
Srungle continues to impress me with how genuinely srungly everything about it is. Like they picked a title that perfectly conveys the essence of the show
I watched 9 episodes of anime today... and live posted about most of them. I never am able to watch that much in one day lol
Tierlist of the 9 mecha (or just sci-fi) anime that I watched the first episodes of today. "will definitely watch more": Key the Metal Idol, Shishunki Bishoujo Gattai Robo Z-Mind, Crest of the Stars, Masou Kishin Cybuster. "might watch more sometime": Mission Outer Space Srungle, Blocker Gundan IV Machine Blaster. "idk... maybe someday": IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix, Betterman. "no": M3: The Dark Metal.
this was a really fun experiment. And I have lots of new shows to watch now!!
I'll probably do this again sometime. So if you have any recommendations of obscure mecha shows that I wouldn't have heard of let me know
Key leaning against a grave.
I really enjoyed this. I know this is an OVA and most of what I watched today was TV shows but this is probably the best looking thing I've watched today.
There's not much plot in this episode, it's very atmospheric. but I assume Key is going to become an idol. I just like the tone and vibes a lot
oh that's dead people
Key (the metal idol I assume) has a sort of weary look on her face.
I think she kinda just looks perpetually tired
I also love the style of this OP
A bunch of wires wrapping around a metal tube.
I love wires
Title screen for Key the Metal Idol (1994).
wait is this robot show or girl show I'm confused??
Announcement: "Rock Lynn will rule our star system".
Till (President Rock Lynn's advisor): "You can't expect the Empire to easily give him a title."
"He's being tricked himself."
"So that makes you the next in line as lord."
There is this weird ass plot point. So the mc's dad is president and he surrendered to the genetically modified space elves on the condition that he becomes lord of his solar system. But them agreeing is a trick and they won't make him lord and somehow that means his son is next in line to be lord??
The main character (who is not a genetically modified space elf) wearing his genetically modified space elf outfit on a backdrop of stars.
sorry I didn't really have any real time reactions to this one
this just seems like a pretty solid space opera political drama thing. Episode 1 by itself was definitely not enough to get a real impression of this series, so I'll probably watch more soon
Government(?) lady: "They've just made some adjustments to their genes."
The person she's talking about has big fucking point elf ears.
so I guess they intentionally modified their genes to give themselves elf ears??
