I have a friend who served as an MP for 10 years. He introduced a bill a few years ago to look into what our CPP ( pension plan) was invested in. One of the things was the US for-profit prison system !! Bill never went anywhere cuz an election was called or something… holy hell!

Sadly, it backfired in the Cowichan and Comox valleys. So many NDP voters went liberal and we ended up with the dreaded racist Gunn, for one and lost an experienced MP, in McGregor, for another example. Grateful I live in E May’s riding…

Obi Wab Kinewbi:) yes! Eby, not so much….he just allowed a big LNG project through that is US owned…most of the LNG projects in BC are foreign owned and have been pushed through against the wishes of First Nations on their unceded territory etc. LNG worse when fracking taken into the account .
