Hm. I think we have to discuss how to get information more deeply. We already have prisoners and we should find out how to make them speak.
Laithrûn got most of their information just listening while they were drunk. We could just spy on them while hidden.
Discussing about the bait strategy can wait until we get more information. Now our priority is putting the children and elder safe, strengthening our fortresses and gathering information. I am afraid… fell beasts cannot be used right not. They draw lots of attention, they would warn the enemy🙃
Letting the enemy think they are superior while knowing their plans is a good path to a swift victory with barely a battle. Winning without putting our people’s lifes in risk is the ultimate victory one can achieve. Given the peace we are pursuing, I think that is the best way to defeat them.

I agree with Maeglin. For now, it would be better not to let them know what we know. Humans underestimate Uruks; they will be careless with their information while they see themselves on the high ground. We can take advantage of it to find out more about their plan and their leader😶

Roles have been chosen voluntarily and so far I think they can be organised in six groups: information seekers, border patrols, equipment providers, healers and caretakers, those who will deal with eventual surrenders... and those willing to perform as bait.
