Did you add enough redundancy, or was Shannon forced to request retransmission?

2-3 years ago, don't remember the exact attenuation any more. But I remember that only a small bag in another bigger one worked sufficiently well.

Also testing this is not easy: If your phone inside the bag won't connect to a network at home, this does not necessarily mean it cannot be located at other locations. I measured a few cheap bags from Amazon, they were a joke.

I would avoid writing that the bags stop or block emissions, technically this is not what they are doing (sorry for being the nasty engineer ;-)) .

N.B.: Faraday bags do not (!) stop or block electromagnetic signals, they just attenuate them - this is a fundamentally different thing! Do not rely on Faraday bags unless you measured them and decided that the actual attenuation is good enough for the purpose.
