ODS has other risk factors that may be more important than correction.

Calling ODS a purely iatrogenic disease is preposterous in many cases. Blameful on docs, rates can’t always be controlled exactly. Litigation :(

Flaws of studies that guidelines are based on >> flaws of recent studies.

This data will be criticized like recent studies. But:

Not all slow correction is because of underlying disease. Hesitancy in correction/relowering are issues = increased LOS.

ODS: ill-defined, extremely rare, questionable relationship to rates (in an era where no one corrects >15)
