What struck me was the camera height. So much of this movie is people sitting down, and except for the hair salon and bar scenes, everyone is sitting on the floor. Though I always knew that's Japanese culture, it never occurred to me how that would effect cinematography.

Though I haven’t been inside, the new downtown library is very cool, I hear. A never-crowded Voodoo Donuts is also downtown. And honestly, you could spend a whole day on the Willamette River walking paths.

Take them to the optician, or really, any optical department in a retail space and ask them to adjust the temples. I think most will do this for free, even if you didn’t get the glasses from them. If you are shopping, do it first, so you can get them readjusted before leaving if you need to.
