Oooh, I love scenarios like these so much! ^^ The correct way to treat thieves who use their stomachs as loot bags.

Thank you for reaffirming that I read Caine's last words correctly, I kept wondering if it was mere dread but it felt more like a sudden painful realization of how the players weren't tormenting him for fun, they were desperately trying to make him stop tormenting them with a drastic plan.
I thought of this many times in the past few years - without thinking of the power consumption issues, NPCs in games with restricted and partially scripted LLM-powered dialogue could be fascinating, however you'd basically have to couple it with (AI) speech synthesis and cut off voice actors.
It's an even worse argument when we already have scientific studies showing how AI use atrophies thinking and skills because you're literally offloading the effort onto a computer, which means your brain isn't benefiting from the exercize and gradually loses ability to perform it.
Yee, I'm very much hoping you'll be successful with your current endeavour because I remember your endless struggles between awful working conditions and soul-crushing commutes as you kept trying. :-/
He was stupid and walked the entire US into a similar trap as what Putin did in Ukraine over four years ago, where he either walks away immediately while looking weak and stupid amid the huge fallout or he has to (massively) escalate it into a long arduous conflict which in the US will be unpopular.
Exactly. :-/ Most people already aren't quite sure what asexual means apart from broad strokes, so any more precise definitions beyond that are utterly lost to everyone who already isn't involved in these matters.
Same here, I'm an occasional writer who commissions art, and I've had people enthusiastically comment on 10+ year old submissions on FurAffinity. This would NEVER happen on a site which solely relies on infinitely scrollable timelines because there's no-one with the patience to deal with that.
I agree with this SO MUCH. Although I've been told by an artist or two back in the day that they felt there wasn't enough interaction on gallery sites, the way infinity scroll became a must have and the only choice even for sites like Patreon where a gallery would have made more sense, is cancerous.
What I meant is that IMO "ace" is technically the wrong label if one starts splitting hairs, but it comes from how people tend to consider desire for sex to be the only determining factor in being a sexual person, and I veered into how this meshes poorly with people who are sexual but not into sex.
And they also need to know that their partner is enjoying it or getting something out of it, to the point where I've gotten to learn from others that cis men can be incredibly sensitive to the idea of not being able to satisfy their partner with sex.
Wherein lies the rub because you can be the kinkiest and most sexual "asexual" person alive, but if you have little to no interest in regular sex, you're going to just get sidelined or cause partners to crash out because in turn the majority of people NEED regular sex to stay happy.
My personal hot take on this is that a good number of people labeled as/labeling themselves as asexual are in reality (very) sexual beings, but because the overwhelming sole metric for this which the vast majority use, is interest in regular PIV sex, the aforementioned people get lumped as asexual.
You ended up sneaking on the unsuspecting lynx as well! >;D
Lynx likes the photobook, meow meow.

I love this, the zedconians have a real charm to them. ^^
I hate how endemic furry artist spam and scam accounts have become on Discord, I feel that these days it's a weekly occurrence to receive friend requests from profiles with no shared servers or friends and which mention the person being an artist.
I feel especially called out here, because I'm literally like "I have no idea why people like the notion of putting a penis into a vagina, seems gross to me" and after that I'm like "Eating someone alive and digesting them, so sexy, why don't more people like this"
So it sounds like yet another case of an established brand bringing out a "trendy" product (wireless gaming headset) with decreased quality all around without a price drop, for greater profit margins.
... because I've read a bunch of complaints on how the build quality is suspect, it's not comfortable for everyone, the microphone is mid at best and inferior to many of their other products, and the sound quality apparently leaves things to be desired. And it's 250€.
Hmph - I'm once again disillusioned because I'm trying to figure out a good closed circumaural wireless headset with Bluetooth and decent microphone, and I looked into Beyerdynamic MX230 since I have a wired Beyerdynamic headset already.
Apparently despite being 250€, the MX230 isn't great...
More Twokinds fan fiction stuff, a futuristic AU where Mary Silverlocke was never overthrown by Trace as the Grand Templar - but nonetheless she still doesn't like it when the Keidran both assert their rights *and* are purposefully bloody-minded twits towards her at the same time. :p
The turkey never survives more than five seconds, too many predators eyeing it every time. ;3
It's honestly frustrating how the main reason why I'm ridding myself of ads on YouTube is because 90% of them are just various kinds of rip-offs or scams, typically AI slop advertizing stuff that's low-grade drop-shipped junk in reality, and the 10% are highly cringy although genuine domestic ads.

I can feel this since even things which I find mild and cute, like collars and leashes pictured here, are often considered very or unacceptably kinky by the masses (such as how collars with D-rings are literally considered "fetish gear" and not allowed in public areas of various furcons).
Yeaaah - IMO play-to-earn ended up being especially gross because it created new sweatshops in developing countries, and the examples I saw were all Ponzi schemes with no real gameplay or value beyond people speculating on in-game NFTs and waiting for new suckers to insert wealth into the game.
It seems pretty niche/rare to me because while cartoonish popping etc. isn't too rare, more serious and fatal takes are rare as hen's teeth from what I can find.
Mine is about grisly, pseudo-realistic bursting/rupturing from being too full in various ways, mostly focused on but not limited to stomachs since for me it also works for intestines, wombs and bladders. In vore this can be either prey breaking out of a pred's stomach or being taken out by others.
My hot take is that one major reason is about people (especially in the US) expecting universal fraud protection and easy chargebacks, which causes direct costs to payment processors and card companies, which means they begin to forcibly cut off merchants they deem not to be worth the cost.
