Catching up on Collision and y'all were right Blackheart Lio Rush is great. I was skeptical as fuck but he's totally won me over. (Pac and Danny did an awesome job selling it too)

I love the detail that Shuhei was so addicted to Marvel Snap he had three separate accounts, and that it took him three years to recover from said addiction.

I didn't even think Jade was good in AEW, but you could see her potential, she clearly did a lot of learning and improving on the job, and I got why TK was pushing her so hard. I would have expected her to be much better in WWE by now.

Like, it's wrestling, I get it, people are going to make others' moves part of their toolkit but a) at least do it well and b) if it's something like a OWA make it a big deal.

Can't blame him for some of those, I would have signed Miro & Malakai. Shame about health & egos. Miro felt like he had untapped potential and Malakai would have hung even with the current roster if his body weren't fucked and he had pulled his head in. Still enjoyed the House of Black at least.

Loyal to it as long as it's good, which doesn't mean I need to like every booking decision but I do need to be consistently enjoying the shows, AEW has yet to let me down on that front. It's the best version of high budget North American wrestling I've seen in my 25+ years of watching.

The urge to buy Tomodachi Life and create an AEW Island is real strong lemme tell you

The Omega & Ospreay segment felt like they were setting them up for the final with a similar "I need this more!" story to Hanger and Ospreay's last year. But AEW has gotten very good at making me think they're going one way only to go a different direction. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Meanwhile Thekla has hit the ground running, it really feels like she was ready for this and is going to be one of AEW's biggest stars.

I was disappointed to lose Mariah May and would have liked to still have her in AEW, but Thekla has been an absolute upgrade.

Not to talk crap about Mariah May - I really enjoyed her matches and she did a fantastic job playing her part in her angle with Toni - but Mariah really struggled to adjust to being champ and figure out who she was when Toni wasn't there, it very much felt like she was learning on the fly.

Moving away from the Men's World Championship to the Women's World Champ - caught myself thinking aboit how Thekla has been so damn good as champion, she is an absolute star and larger than life in the best way.

MJF really brings it with that title around his waist. Not that I think he puts in a low effort otherwise, but it really feels like he makes sure he's doing his absolute best work. Loved this run.

Swerve turning up and being a vicious asshole to Darby for a month before winning the title would be a soothing balm for this

The locker room coming out to celebrate felt so incredibly unearned too lmao

Hopefully this leads to a good gimmick match at DoN where MJF wins it back #AEWDynamite

If the title had changed hands in a proper match I'd be more okay with this. A few minutes in the overrun? Not a fan. I'm sure things will be fine - there's no way Darby is holding this title all the way to All In, for instance - but I don't like the way this was booked at all. #AEWDynamite
