@sketch.com Hi folks. Has zoom with a Magic Mouse always had no inertia? Is it a bug or a deliberate choice to disable it?

Can we talk about the shuffle, repeat and autoplay buttons in Apple Music on iPhone? Why do they take 3 seconds to change state? Why can I tap the button again while it’s changing state (and change state twice)? Why does the music pause for a second or two when I change the repeat mode sometimes?

I suspect that much of the opposition to algorithmic timelines is based on perception that algorithms can only optimize for the worst impulses because people have never experienced anything else.

X, likewise, promotes inane drivel over everything else because it’s effective at hijacking the monkey brain. And the owner gets high on very chaos he peddles.

Never say never, but they will never.

Meta’s signature social network approach is to shove viral trash down your feed whether you like it or not. A triumph of bad taste and exploitation of the worst instincts over aspirations.

No feature After a year of observation, experimentation, and testing, we may have found a careful response to the challenges we face with AI.

Since the introduction of ChatGPT, adding “AI” to everything has become the dominant trend in IT. We considered AI for iA Writer. But obviously, we had to make sure not to destroy everything we had built over the last 15 years. We did not want our app to become an AI feature.
