A massive loss for the local cycle community. The Biketrax team were brilliant!

That sounds great, I should definitely take Vivaldi for a spin! All the built in features sound like a very different approach to other new browser, which all seem to go down the minimalist route

Interesting! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ What makes Vivaldi better than Firefox? Iโ€™m still hanging on to FF.

This is a landing page for Half Life 2โ€™s 20th aniversary (www.half-life.com/en/halflife2...), and it has an easter egg; you can enable the object grabber from the game and wreck havoc on the page:

Excellent article, as ever, from Matthew Curtis. Independence does matter to the drinker not just in ensuring that they are drinking properly independent beer but also in terms of the quality of the beer they are drinking too.

Small breweries can't compete on price or marketing, so they have to stand out with great beer. Big brewers can sell consistent, familiar products through massive distribution and advertising. Different models, different strengths - indies survive by being both distinctive AND great.

Very likely that small, independent breweries employ more people per hl output. Fewer automated processes, staff occupying multiple roles, and the bigger you get, the more important is marketing and sales rather than core brewing jobs. Non production roles likely don't scale linearly with volume.
