I find it interesting that every single person who has been trying to bully me just got in trouble today. Then they're stupid enough to try another tactic. 🙄 Why? I don't bother them. I steer clear of all of them. Like you go live in your own evil. I want nothing of what's coming to you.

Needless to say, that was my last Con. I'm too old for this.

What people said happened on Day 2...

A young woman was sexually harassed & grabbed in line. The women did nothing, but my friend, Rei, did something and created a safe space for her.

I'm glad I didn't go. I spent all day recuperating. I don't think I could have subjected my body to another day of that chaos. Empaths pick up on the chaos & it seeps into them.

Matthew draped himself across me to absorb those emotions. I fell asleep after. He woke me up every hour to check on me.

Finally got to see Dust Bunny. What a cute fantasy horror movie.

Throughout their entire lives, they never stopped loving each other.

I really related to the movie. She left with a broken heart to go be alone. The world bested her. He had to stay with his wife.

Even when she tried to marry someone else, her soul stopped her from making the same mistake he did.

She left bc she had to find her own happiness. Not love. Happiness.

They're together in the end.

And then they die together so their souls reincarnate together.

The show evokes a lot of emotion and heartbreak.

The world, family, and society try to keep them apart.

Unfortunately, that is the soulmate journey. But they do find each other in the end.

So Tita leaves & forces him to stay with his wife for the sake of his daughter.

They literally have to wait until the older sister dies before they can finally be free to be together. Took 20 years for it to happen.

But during those years away, she was free, peaceful, & happy.

Yet, the two never stop being in love with each other. But the conflict of him being married complicates their bond.

The sister is manipulative & right as he's ready to leave her, she threatens to make her daughter live as Tita did: in service to her mother. No love.

Meeting your soulmate at a young age. Growing up together. He goes to ask her to be his wife & her mother basically forces him to marry her older sister. She's forced to live a life without love in service of taking care of her mother.

I just finished watching Like Water For Chocolate. Never saw the movie. But the series was... wow.

The thing everyone kept repeating was: How is this ReedPop?

NYCC is so much bigger, yet more organized and put together.

This was 1/10 the size of NYCC & it was an epic fail. I saw videos from the Sourcebooks drop & did an OMG.

I couldn't even load my ticket to the app. Contacted support... nothing.

I decided not to do day 2 of Book Con.

It was the worst con I've ever been to. The list of everything that went wrong is very long.

I need to protect my peace. That was pure chaos thrown in with a lot of WTF.

I just saw clips from the Festival of Books in Paris. It looked calm and respectful.

Then I look at what happened yesterday at Javits... complete chaos.

Have been wondering when candidates would start talking about this. One of the biggest corruption scandals is U.S. history playing out in real time.

I'm reading what everyone had to say about today. None of it is good.

How are you ReedPop and can't do BookCon correctly? It's not like BookCon didn't exist before.

I've never been to a signing that was an actual party. Passed hors d'oeuvres. A bar with bartenders serving themed drinks.

Then there's Matt acting all cool.

I still hope he adds Matthew into his book. But I don't think Matthew will ever be cool enough to meet Donut on the pages of DCC.
