I've seen an amazing number of off planet biologicals this trip, and the latest takes the cake. I didn't expect to discover more, but I cam across a system with 2 species I've never seen before. Rubellum Peduncle, they are called and they are amazing. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots

After about a week on my carrier for maintenance while we traversed the eastern arm to Hawkins Gap, I'm back out. I've found a system with Thargoid probes. There's an Ammonia Gas Giant here which checks out with other known probe discoveries. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
It's an interesting part of space with many systems having been visited before. Mabe before we were allowed atmospheric landings or as a place to fuel scoop before moving on. So there's still discoveries to be made and credits to earn. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
Just watched your mao guide. Well done, it was excellent
It's not a big planet, but with 7 bio species to scan, it's a profitable one. It's going to net me 1/3 of a billion in credits alone. I'm really excited though because this is only the 3rd time I can remember finding these Osseus Discus species. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
Having achieved my goal of reaching Magellan's Star, I'm now heading back so I can loop around to meet up with the #LooseScrews expedition heading to Dryman's Point. I've got a little time to sample the local flora. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
Listening on a Saturday morning in New Zealand. Lol @cmdrbuur.bsky.social and @cmdrrheeney.bsky.social
I'm just about falling over Stellar Phenomena out here. It doesn't even matter now that I'm discovering them in systems I'm the first to discover. This would be an awesome tourist location if it wasn't for its distance from populated space. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
Anyway, I have came back out the same way I came in, but I am still having to synthesize jumponium to try and pick my way carefully to a spot where the systems are dense enough to plot my way back to my carrier. As I do so, I;m starting to plan my next steps.
I didn't know what to expect, but the richness the galaxy showed me on the way kinda muted the experience of being here. Maybe that was the effect of coming down from the high of just arriving.
I've made it. I'm finally at Magellan's Star. They say it's the journey, not the destination, and I agree. I've been in the centre of the galaxy, to some of the largest stars, to the far side, and stood on the edge. I never spend long there through. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I thought I was just going to get the usual types of objects in these Stellar Phenomena locations. Instead, I've come across a species I've never seen before. Candidum Rhizome. Quite possibly the original noob hammers the way they rotate. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
They call this system "Void's Brink", a system with an ELW and 2 Stellar Phenomena locations that is the end of the road as far as the Tenebrae region goes. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
The system is known as Pamplemousse. The star is nearly 37 solar radii.
You don't always get a sense of the size of a star when you first come out of witchspace. That was the case for me here. It wasn't until I realised a couple of other stars in the system that seemed very distant were actually very close, and were just dwarfed by this Orange Giant. #EliteDangerous
I've come across a system with 3 Stellar Phenomena in it. At least 1 Cmdr has been here before, but considering most of the bodies haven't been discovered, I may be the first to have visited these space-borne biologicals. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I've finally made it to the Tenebrae region, marked by my arrival at a system known as Theophrastus's Conservatory. Not only is it host to an ELW and 2 WWs, but there are 3 distinct notable stellar phenomena. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I'm not the first commander in this system, but this ELW was left undiscovered, along with all other planets in the system. Am I really the only 2nd CMDR to visit this system? Seems so. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I've detoured south-east to a more densely populated part of Lyra's Song. It should make the next part of my journey easier.
#EliteDangerous
Most of the systems I visit now have already been discovered, but many have just been passed through, like this system where there were 3 planets with space pumpkins. Now my name is on the planet forever. #elitedangerous
Just me and my Mandalay. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I've arrived at my next waypoint, a POI like no other. This planet orbits only 2 ls from the T class star it orbits. You can even walk around on the surface, for a very short time. Just enough for a picture. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
You know you're getting way out there when you can count the number of stars in the sky. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
As the stars start to thin I'm coming across more previously discovered worlds, so eventually I won't find anything new. So I'm taking a bit more time to explore undiscovered worlds. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
This Class II Gas Giant has two sets of rings. The outer set starts at over 800,000 km and is impossible to scan, at least from what I tried. #EliteDangerous #StellarScreenshots
I've finally become a Patreon of the awesome #EDSM for #EliteDangerous. I've been promising myself to support EDSM and Inara for some time for the services they provide, and finally I'm in a position where I'm able to.
o7 Cmdr. Goodluck out there.
In the shadow of its sister moon, this rocky body hosts newly discovered Crystaline Shards. #elitedangerous #stellarscreenshots
Exploration is such a broad term for different styles. My style is 'choose a waypoint and head there. Whatever I find along the way is mostly down to luck'. Occasionally I'll stop & look around a particular part of space, but what keeps me going is achieving the waypoints. #elitedangerous
Ohhh nice. I didn't even scratch the paint.
