The Yiddish Book Center and Eric Carle Museum both own their own properties so expect to continue operations as usual, but I'm hoping that they'll be able to hang on with what I presume will be reduced traffic. (Hopefully the bus loop will still include them!)

Obviously there's no news yet, but I'm desperately hoping whoever ends up buying the property is interested in preserving the natural beauty of the grounds and farm.

I was able to transfer out, but I have never stopped missing Hampshire and wishing I'd been able to complete my undergrad degree there. It was such a unique and beautiful place.

So absolutely heartbroken to hear this news today. It was so painful to be a student in 2019 and see how many of my classmates were only safe and welcomed at Hamp, who didn't have homes they were able to go back to.

I think the conversation about disability rep is a lot more complicated than that, especially because of discrimination and the necessity of hiding disability sometimes! I’m definitely willing to look at non-own-voices, or own voices books where the author isn’t willing to publicly disclose. ❤️
