"The worst part about mental health is that it's fucking cringe" was quite the highlight for me.

I attempted to post a picture of my arm after it got slashed by an unhappy cat that did not want to go to the vet. I labeled the image as "graphic", but then afterwards bluesky labeled it as "self-harm".
I'm not upset about it but I now have to wonder if my cat is on the bluesky moderation team.
You'll love sand filler in your food, you hardly notice the grit and you're much more full!
Also, nothing in the story was interesting enough to warrant sticking around for this irritation.
The game isn't even difficult! I was killing bosses on my first try deep into the game but I was still having a terrible time because it felt like the game didn't want me to play it. Even normal enemy attacks do this! I got into *so* many knockdown strings in fights with just a couple of monsters.
I'm dropping Code Vein 2. I spent 70% of my time not playing the game because EVERYTHING knocks you down or interrupts you. There *are* temporary buffs you can get that help you withstand attacks, but they either don't work right or the enemies just power through them and slam your ass down.
Blood moon!

"This car seems good!" Ooh except 1% of those models randomly explode.
"Ok, then maybe this one?" That one makes you pay to use any of their features and you can't connect to your phone.
"Please, this one?" It's great! But it's sold as one brand but was made by a different, worse brand.
Kill me.
Car shopping is a nightmare. For every person that says a car will fall apart in a week, another says that same car watered their crops. Meanwhile, car guys are arguing about horsepower and rear/front/all wheel drive, tech bros are complaining about the "infotainment" (aka, the Devil's Portmanteau).
I've been looking into getting an electric car and in my search for tips and recommendations I have encountered my own new personal hell: the intersecting point between tech bros and gear heads.
Let's do this.

Holy shit, that's wild. Can you get on a chocobo or airship to get to other continents or do you just warp around?
Wait, what's the scale? Is there a way to screenshot it? I don't even know how that would work in VR.
Fucking finally. Within the span of a single month, Trump shit himself so hard that the rest of the world decided they weren't going to ignore the fumes anymore.
recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.
it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI
"The Aggro Everywhere system was revolutionary in its breadth, scope, and in delivering new realms of paranoia to its participants."
Nintendo really wants you to pay for $30 amiibo DLC so that you can find out Sylux was somehow even less interesting than you first thought.
Regretfully, I have found the idle game in UFO 50. All other games must now go on the backburner.
I wish I could compare for you but I have not played the Death Standings. But based on what I remember from trailers, the eldritch in DS seems a bit more scary and in Hell is Us it feels more Wrong™️.
Yo, @draggro.bsky.social was right, Hell is Us has the sauce. I was a little hesitant at first but now I'm really digging it. It feels great to go from "Wow, this is unsettling and off-kilter...", to "Wow, this is unsettling and off-kilter!"
The story was 3 separate plots smashed together so that none of them had time to breathe or recieve any kind of satisfying development or payoff. It sort of just ends with a shrug.
So yeah, I can believe this had a frought development.
Guys, the Wii is dead. Stop ramming in motion control dogshit if it doesn't make sense. If I've locked on to something, it's because I want to hit it. If I wanted to free-aim, I would just DO THAT. Every boss that had this mechainic was a painful, interminable slog.
I finished Metroid Prime 4 the other day. I thought it was mostly ok! The characters weren't bad (except Miles, he becomes your worst enemy), and the zones were thoughtfully made (except the last one). But I HATED that they kept the "you can lock on but still adjust your aim" thing from Prime 3.
Iris Another, a "what if" character from Megaman X Dive combining Iris and Colonel from Megaman X4.
Oh, there's a new Megaman game. Cool, I guess.
Wake me up when they use this stellar design in a non-mobile Megaman X game.
I really like the variety of courses in Kirby Air Riders. All of the typical cozy tropes are here:
-Float through a field of flowers
-CAREEN THROUGH ENDLESS FACTORIES
-Ride down the winding paths of a mountain
-INFILTRATE CYBERSPACE
-Explore ancient skybound ruins
-KILL A MACHINE GOD
Honk honk, I'm the mayor of Clown Town.
I'm torn. It does look great, but I would have to get the Switch 2 AND still pay $70 for it. I don't know if I can justify a Clown Nose Parade just to have a good time.
