And yes, it is for real: you can cultivate science, publish academic papers, and become an academic teacher — all without a university affiliation.
As a benchmark, 60 MS graduates is about the amount that an average full professor in neuroscience promotes throughout their whole academic career...
…while I’m doing it in one go and in my “free time,” after working hours spent on my company.
I can’t believe this is happening! I’m back to academic teaching — this time as a Master thesis promoter of 60 (!) Master students in Psychology @ the Higher School of Pedagogical Sciences, Warsaw.
So far so good.
