It is important that they did not end late submission - you still get extra time given that the reviews often overlap submission cycles. This is what I’ve had the last many years as a frequent reviewer and it is sufficient.

I would like to point out that on the last round of conference grants they changed the rules to require foreign paperwork if you have an international co-organizer AFTER the conference grants were submitted so we had to withdraw and resubmit in the next cycle. Nothing is ever easier.

Some of the issues were for people who didn’t have orcids connected. But I still think it is weird you cannot cite the papers most closely related to this project under your significant contributions. I wasted a lot of time worrying about that
ScienCV question here - why can your contributions to science ONLY reference the 5 “other” papers and not the 5 most closely related to this application? Seems like they are forcing you to say you are more qualified to apply for a different grant, lol.
