Time to celebrate one year of "ART of the Solar System"! As Cody Schell's visual strip completes one Earth solar rotation, it follows up on an artist showcased previously as they continue to transform the skies of Venus!

RIP Moya Brennan, a wonderful singer, composer, harpist, sister of Enya, and gave - with Clannad - the first ever performance in Irish on Top of the Pops. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zHT...
The Artemis II astronauts return from their historic 10-day mission around the moon. Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Jeremy Hansen, and Reid Wiseman became the first humans to travel toward the moon in more than 50 years, and set a new record for the farthest distance ever traveled from Earth.
GIFs you can hear.
I may have to borrow this for the upcoming project you did the cover for. "Ripped from the headlines..." lmao

2014 me vs now
It finally arrived yesterday, despite the tracking showing it's still in Customs.
I blame @vincestadon.bsky.social because that beautiful soul keeps encouraging me to get back to writing and I am stubborn.
Well, for the first time in a couple of years, I submitted a story somewhere. 👀
Yesterday was a VERY good Arsenal win and plenty of people are not giving it the credit it deserves, mostly because they're selling Sporting well short.
A potent combination of engagement-driven negative Arsenal narrative and non-big 5 league / non-glamor club disrespect.
New story day! I wrote The Song Shines On during my residency at Banff (with excellent feedback from friends including @champwongs.bsky.social and @shewhoserenades.bsky.social) so it's dear to my heart 💙
I underestimated the amount of joy I would have when I decided to try my hand at publishing.

[—surprised at the amount of junk data in here. What the hell is this thing returning my pings with?"
@joberry.bsky.social's lyrical "The Song Shines On" is now live!

Currently working through my replay on Switch 2 and I think this succinctly covers it. I'm further enough now that it's not an issue but those first couple of hours are a bit... daunting?
Don't you threaten me with a good time, Ali (totally preordered and did the signing thing 😀).
If you want to preorder a SIGNED copy of my forthcoming poetry collection, Offerings for Ordinary Gods ( @clashbooks.bsky.social ) , you can! Follow the Inkwood bookstore link below, then during checkout, in the Instructions/Comments box, write signed and/personalized!
How fabulous is that??

I'm starting to wonder if this Nyxi Hyperion 3 is ever getting out of customs inspection.
A drawing of sleepwalker Cesare from the silent film THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1920) as played by Conrad Veidt, drawn in black and white on an iPhone with Procreate Pocket. He stares at you with heavily blackened eyes, thick eyebrows, and sort of a bowl cut hairdo.
It’s been so long since I posted any #art & I just haven’t been able to get back to my iPad yet, so I finished this Procreate Pocket doodle of Cesare (Conrad Veidt) from THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1920), drawn on my iPhone with my right index finger. I’m pretty happy with it given the constraints.
God this freaked me out as a kid. It was wild what you could get a PG for in the 1980s.
Yeah, as an adult I’m like, “Starscream??”
The 80's were wild. Just being a young kid casually watching Saturday morning cartoons when this pops up on my TV: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt0K...
"Surrender accept flu" mannnnnnnn hell no.
Shoutout to @davidmack.pro for reminding me of one of my favorite scenes from Val Kilmer's hilarious "TOP SECRET!" movie:

Ugh, SAME. Do you find that they follow roughly the same plot line? Mine is like this strip; that it's near the end of the school year and I somehow never attended one class that I need to graduate. So annoying. lol
