Well, @medren2025.bsky.social isn’t over yet, but what a stimulating week it’s been – thought-provoking papers, excellent concerts and wonderful reconnections with expert musicologists and practitioners. Plus we came face to face the northeast’s resident dragon: the Lambton Worm 🐉

I do dislike talking into my phone. But @oliverhjones.bsky.social did such a beautiful job with the edit. And it’s worth it, to promote such wonderful repertoire.

At last night’s open rehearsal we were delighted to be joined by a number of supporters who have kindly donated to our Crowdfunder campaign 🙏

David coached us all on music by Vivanco, Ribera, Robledo and others that we’ll perform on 28 June.

BBC Radio 3 - Compline, All Saints and All Souls From the Church of St Anne and St Agnes, Gresham Street, London.

This recording of a compline service with the Renaissance Singers is available until the start of November. One of the best things I've done for ages; so grateful to the choir for their wonderful singing.
