though .... hmm i've also been given the impression that Toriyama would kinda just do whatever his editors thought would make more money, which is why we got more goku instead of Gohan becoming the main protagonist in dbz.

in the end i guess it just comes down to how dedicated to maintaining Toriyama's intent for the character and stories Toei is. or bandai? i dont remember which one owns DB.... pretty sure its Toei.

But i'm also pretty much just an outside observer to all this and i don't understand the full breadth of Dragonball stories, games, shows, etc.

Like i'm pretty sure i've seen all of the anime, but the original DragonBall is the only one i'd call good, flaws and all.

Since Akira Toriyama's death i've been wondering what the Dragonball fan community is going to do going forward. Cause like from what i've seen they really don't care all that much for stuff that Toriyama had little or no involvement in.

i really like putting vanilla extract in things. back when we had money to go around i would put some in meat marinades and it added this... i don't know how to put it.... smoothness? to all the savory flavors. i would sometimes put it in curry as well, its fun funding out what it works in.

Actual artists get caught in the crossfire all the time because AI doesn't just steal art it also takes on the mistakes artists make on top of the incomprehensible mistakes AI makes all on its own.

yes a tangeant is a kind of mistake that AI makes but please if you're gonna make weeding out what is and is not AI your hobby make sure you have a lot more to go on before you even consider saying anything.

just saw a youtube short talking about how tangeants are a clear indicator of AI usage and just..... *deep beleaguered sigh* a tangeants is a super common, super easy mistake that actual artists make all the time. you could probably comb through my work and find plenty.
