It all depends on the hypnotist. If he comes from a place of enjoyment and ethics, then the volunteers will end up having the most fun. If the hypnotist is a malicious, narcissistic prick, then you've got a problem.

I've never actually created a rubber elf suit. I did put together a makeshift elf costume for a hypnosis demo I did at a high school that was just a pullover tunic, boots, and a hat.
I once drew a superhero Christmas Elf, and I wouldn't mind seeing a rubber version of that suit.
