Since we started giving $5 of free credit to every new user of Laravel Cloud, the question that keeps coming up is how far that $5 can actually last.
Sure it depends on your preferences and app, but I put together a video with some technical breakdown and common scenarios.

Hey Stellar! Thanks for pointing this out and sorry I hadnโt seen these issues sooner.
I wasnโt receiving notifications for this repo.
Will take a look tonight!
Love a good Alpine Ajax project!
What if you could write all of your UI feedback across your entire app, take screenshots, and deliver that feedback to an agent without having to type up all of the context?
Basically what if Agentation worked for any stack?
I built Instruckt. Tailored for Laravel.
MCP, Boost skills, all stacks.
These new updates are so good. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Hahah. You can just (get people) to do things!
Thanks Sheldon!
And same here for me honestly. So I figured it would be nice not to have to redo work all the time. ๐
Shipped some TweakFlux updates this evening. ๐ซก
โ It's now a global package or --dev
โ Comes with a skill to use with Laravel Boost to create your own theme. Just run tweakflux boost
Love this little thing.

One of my favorite ones from tweakCN so I had Claude give it a go and with some minor tweaks looks pretty good!
I built a thing. Inspired by tweakcn and my love for Livewire and Flux UI.
It even comes with a Laravel Boost skill that helps you craft your own themes.

I got to jump in on the Laravel Advent fun and showcase one of the many underdogs in the Laravel ecosystem:
Folio.
Folio is page-based routing, great for marketing pages and other sections of your Laravel app, to go from nothing to something incredibly fast.

We love a good laravel new.
Letโs go. โ๏ธ
Gonna have a video up about this and talking about it on the Riff and Refine show with @wking.dev
How can you look back and be thankful for the times you said yes?
Todayโs episode was for me most of all.

This clip is from yesterday's thoughts, but this morning's thoughts are out on all the podcast platforms now.
Maybe tomorrow you can do the same. โบ๏ธ
Take the first 10 minutes of your day, before you do anything else, and just write.
Or, in my case, write by talking.
It's helped me frame my mindset for the day. It's helped me feel more productive. It's helped me hate mornings a little less.
Today's episode out now.

I like that this is a way for me to experiment with my website as well. I want to turn this into a written blog and maybe automate that process.
But for now, you can find the audio blog and notes in podcast format:
goodmakersmorning.com
I'm trying something new.
I've never been good at writing but I like talking through topics on my mind.
So I figured I would create my own "audio blog" of sorts.
It's a different side of me. The topics might be all over the place. But it's me.
Good maker's morning.
What a bunch of quality releases. ๐ฎโ๐จ
TLDW: even in a world where it comes down to your preferences of LLM over the tool that helps you interact with said LLM, I think Cursor is falling behind (at least in the additive AI tooling space).
Claude Code or OpenCode (from SST crew) is a much better, complete option IMO.
Iโve been using Claude Code as my main AI coding tool for the past 4+ months.
So when I saw Cursor announced their CLI tool, I was intrigued.
But is it good enough (or different enough) to not use something like OpenCode or Claude Code?
I made a video about it.

All's forgiven (I say as someone who forgets to open up Bluesky).
I'm one to always find a path, process, shortcut, or automation to save me time in almost every single aspect of my life except for two things.
1. Family.
2. Learning.
It's just not worth it.
Thank you! โบ๏ธ
Got me.
80 clips! All 5-10 minutes each. ๐ฎโ๐จ
To be fair, on Typefully, I did purposefully edit it for BSky to use the link instead of image, but it just not have saved. ๐
Excuse me. I was busy. Doing things.
