There is this ugly culture of BS there. Everyone in barely middle management is an 'executive' people with barely any experience are 'visionary leaders'. 'Top 50 people in X' - because they paid a fee to be on a list?

No matter how much we all hate X or Meta or whatever, we can all agree that LinkedIn is the most vile of them all.

I am slowly finding all the people I used to follow on old-school-twitter over here. Looking forward to reading certain folks again, finding some sanity in these times. (As long as I can keep the doom scrolling at bay, although some is ok, it's hella better than the FB brain rot clickbait.)

This is what delighted me today. We went sledding and on the last run, we tied all the tubes together and had massive momentum and crashed into the wall and the kids for a brief moment were joyous and not squabbling.
