I LOVE Nicholas Winton. He’s my hero. I’ve loved him since I lived in Prague, but also found out he’s a local hero to Maidenhead where I now work. I found out in the middle of a lesson teaching about him, which was a pretty incredible moment! The Nicky and Vera book is one of my favourites.

Organised a couple of shelves by colour… not sure how I feel about it! It looks nice but I have books in the same series that are separated on my shelf now… thoughts??

Today it was a “nice” day in Cornwall. The best day of the week apparently. My mum decreed we should make the most of it and go for a coastal walk… Reader, it was 12 degrees. I was wearing a long-sleeve thermal top and a jumper. But at least it wasn’t raining I guess! 🤣 #BritishSummer
