I make chili and tomato-based foods in my Dutch oven on a regular basis. I just made a batch of chili Mac a couple of days ago.

The key is to not boil water or acidic fluids for long periods of time and to clean thoroughly, with soap and water, and then dry on stovetop while rubbing in some oil.

Got up this morning and made breakfast for my wife. Fried eggs and homemade chicken and cheese biscuits. Fresh coffee waiting at our breakfast table.
