you are the tune and the beats of the breath and the heart, not the instruments themselves. you'd describe to god what it feels like to be you if there was only someone behind you to tell.

we awaken to this realm where we imagine joy distinct from sadness and beauty distinct from the putrid and profane. Emerging here from the singularity of the unified whole, we wonder whether this is a blessing or a curse, momentarily blinded to their unity too.

The Original Co-Dependents: Your mind and body for providing attachment after attachment in an effort to keep your soul animating them. It's not your spiritual development or wellbeing they support. It's their own survival. Once the soul realizes itself, it is free to leave when it chooses.

While we seem quick to (pejoratively?) identify the elements of real in dreaming, we seem less inclined to consider the elements of dreaming in waking life. Both start with causal stimulus that the subjective mind sorts into a narrative. Waking life seems less flexible with the laws of physics.

it's 2 a.m. in the darkened campsite. No moon. Brush rustles from animal movement 10 feet off and I utter a half throated sound. It means: I'm human, awake, and will defend this space. The rustling dies and I shed a tear for the source of nuclear proliferation.

I am an instrument of consciousness, not the owner/operator.

That self-recognition is taken as the outer border of identity seems inarguable nonsense. Yet that appears to be how we roll so commonly.

Intelligent: A mind that solves more problems than it creates. Creative: A mind that asks more questions than it answers. Still, minds seem terribly unreliable tools, not to be trusted with complexities exceeding those of a third grade story problem.

The nature of projection dictates that the only truth is subjective and that all we believe is pure delusion in the same heady breath. The spectral nature of consciousness, from God to lunatic runs in a circular motion with no fixed points of identity other than self identification.

I guess the debaters between black/white dichotomy and gray variability have failed to notice the rainbows of nature and the swirling colors of the human mind with equal lack of aplomb. Bully for them.

Consensual reality only tells us the relative popularity of our delusion. Realizing this, the fear to experience our own reality as a unique human experience may fade.

To be human, to be born human, is to have a birthright to be of three expressions: to sing, to pray, or to chase darkness away. To miss the connection, to miss your human birthright calling, seems worth noting as we squander away our lives on anger, fear, and tripe.

in the naming of all things we dis-integrated the universe, a.k.a the stars won't come when they're called because 'the stars' are not their names.
