Went down to the mighty maunga this weekend. The other one, not the one we went to last weekend. How lucky are we to have Ruapehu and Taranaki with striking distance from home. Sunrises and sunsets magnificent. #Aotearoa #Ruapehu #TeTōngaOTeRā #TeWhitingaOTeRā
An outside table with a glass of clear liwuid (gin) ice and lime on the left, book on the right, ready to be read. Table adornments behibd; a metal wrought bird in flight, a small iron hare sitting upright with pointy ears, succulents in clay pots, one shaped like a whale. It is sunny.

Back to work today so procrastinating by scrolling and looking at photos of our few days away in Taranaki. What a maunga!

I listen to easy, 'don't have to concentrate too much' detective stuff for the same reason. Struggle with headspace for what I really want to read. But, coming to realisation that I just need to stop and give myself time to do nothing else, clear my mind and slow down.
