The Achilles Heel in Your Hand Cell phone data can find you anywhere -- even if you do all the right things

I don’t post here often enough, but thought I’d pass this along.
Your cell phone is giving away your location, even if you’re doing everything right.
And there’s a good chance they used adware on cell phones to find and kill American soldiers.

Same! I do actually have a plan to finish it this spring, with a book doctor to keep me on track, so there’s hope!

I’ve been a journalist/reporter forever, then blogger, then went weirdly viral on FB for wearing a prairie dress and I write there and Substack about life on a farm, homeschooling and my take on things.
I’m also working on a memoir about growing up with a con artist mother and actor father.

A box arrived today from my best friend.
Just a few little things — a book, two games for book-lovers, and a fat puffin with a glorious hat.
But it was the note that made me cry.
Especially now, may we all be kind to the ones we love, exchange tokens of goodwill, and let them know we’re there.

Per the requests about the herding of cats: Two of our barn cats, Calypso and Homer, and the two spoiled house cats. They actually do a lot of the herding around here, and keep the rodent population under control (working with our resident barn owl!)

Hi, all! Figured I’d join the cool kids over here.
I’m a writer, homeschooler, Scoutmaster, and I herd cats on our small farm in Washington.
I write about cows, weird snacks at gas stations, our strange society, fixing up a ramshackle house, ADHD, woodworking and food.
Almost done with that memoir.
