Ten years ago today. This picture is a very painful memory. She was desperately ill & we waited for a bed. She knew the significance of it & put on her best party dress. Strong like her lion, we said. Now thanks to Kaftrio she is living an essentially normal ish life #cysticfibrosis #kaftrio

I will forever be delighted by the day I was the anaesthetist for a stroke thrombectomy. The interventional radiologist was one digit below me on the GMC register and the stroke physician one digit above on the GMC register!! Med school buddies all doing the same case! It will never happen again.
It's even worse because there's plenty of use of the feedback section in evaluations for airing grievances, beefs, etc that they didn't the courage or the decency to say to people in person.
Yes, you can also get surprises the other way
