Played my first game of Cargo Empire yesterday. It’s basically a pick up and deliver without the pick up. I wasn’t expecting too much from this one, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of thinking involved. I’m looking forward to playing again.

This evening’s game is “It’s a Wonderful Kingdom.” It’s a two-player spin off of “It’s a Wonderful World” that replaces the card drafting with an l-split-you-choose mechanism. #boardgames

I’ve been playing Concordia Venus quite a bit with the Solitaria expansion. This game took place on the Hispania map with the the Salsa expansion. I lost pretty bad. But considering that the solo bot’s actions are directly dictated by your own actions, it’s actually like I won, right? #boardgames

I’m waiting for my copy to arrive, but I’ve played this quite a bit already on BGA. It’s almost like playing four mini games at once with the way the turns rotate.
