Had a really beautiful evening tonight with @workshops4gaza.bsky.social, teaching about media literacy. Was great being in community with a very chatty group of 60 inquisitive students from the US, Canada, India, England and Iran. I debuted an 8-part toolkit I'm developing for reading media:

gonna keep hammering this: there is no one database that:

-is easily accessed by a street level bureaceat

-has every or even most US citizens

-is at all verifiable with pictures and/or biometrics

It does not exist. American citizens *are* going go to get swept up in this and deported or killed.

I’ve had people in my replies calling me all sorts of things and dunking because I think it’s bad to kill someone because they’re unhoused and/or mentally ill and it’s just a reminder that this country doesn’t need an excuse to justify killing people
