Congratulations, Deniz! This was book of the year for me last year (and is killing it this year!) and it’s so cool to see an indie book doing numbers/having demand like this. Thanks for your work! It’s meant a whole lot these last few years.

Ditto! Really enjoyed chatting, hope Sunday was good for you!
Eddie Stallion by Kyle Starks, Ezra Cain by Chris Condon
Spent the weekend asking Vertigo writers to draw their characters! Maybe did some other things too.
@christophcondon.bsky.social and @thekylestarks.bsky.social are awesome, thanks so much for being a big part of a great weekend!
Had the pleasure of sitting down with @philhester.bsky.social and talking all things process, Green Arrow, A Quiet Place, Gotham City: Year One, and some good ol’ fashioned industry talk. Give it a listen!

Thank you for the book!
Is Ted OK? #2 cover by Dave Chisholm
@davechisholmcomics.com is very good at making comic books! I noticed some really subtle, smart bits of this book that I didn’t see the first time around that impressed me. This is a well-planned, clever story that deserves the eyes of the industry.
Excited to get deeper into this story!
Flash #31 cover by Gavin Guidry
Wasn’t prepared to love this book as much as I did. @ryannorth.ca brings the funny and heart while @gavinguidry.bsky.social captures humanity. And they both capture The Flash™️.
This is a perfect understanding of Flash, the perfect tone and energy. Cannot wait to see the stories these guys will tell.
Peril of the Brutal Dark: An Ezra Cain Mystery #2 cover by Jacob Phillips
22 pages of why @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social is awesome. Gorgeous, gorgeous comic book that’s beautifully paced by @christophcondon.bsky.social. This is—intentionally, I think—a book that you set down and feel a deep, guttural “WHAT’S NEXT??”. There’s so much intrigue and a perfect cliffhanger!
Absolute Martian Manhunter #10 cover by Javier Rodriguez
@denizcamp.bsky.social, @javierrodriguez.bsky.social, and Otsmane-Elhaou are a fucking force of the medium. I absolutely loved the descriptions/ideas around war and borders, and the visuals absolutely nail all of the wild things happening.
I adore this comic book, can’t wait to reread and reread
Cannot cannot wait for this book. Definitely my most anticipated upcoming release
Can’t wait. You’ve killed it on these first pages!
Thank you for the book! Can’t wait to see more of your work on this
I can’t imagine it was easy putting together everything the book stands for into just a few pages, but you really do nail it.
It seems a reread is in order before June
If @danpgwatters.bsky.social wants to talk about highways for the next year, I’m here. @denyscowan.bsky.social absolutely nails this issue and I’m super excited to see where this team is taking this character. I’ve never seen a writer pivot so hard, so successfully on a book like this. Very exciting
New Titans #33 cover by Taurin Clarke
@tatebrombal.bsky.social takes a huge swing on his first issue, something pretty risky for a superhero first issue. And he absolutely nails it.
A metanarrative that’s perfectly suited for this team, I cannot wait to see where this one’s going. It’s very clear there’s a big plan, and I’m here for it!
@gregrucka.com. DaNi. Hollingsworth. Otsmane-Elhaou.
A gorgeously-executed comic by the best in the business. Absolutely loved the framing device and the central question posed to us, it’s such a great way to ask something we’re all dealing with and to show how Kate stands against… all of it
End of Life #2 cover by Gerald Parel
@thekylestarks.bsky.social and @stevepugh.bsky.social are fucking hilarious amidst a sea of good stuff. It’s amazing how quickly my opinion of Eddie’s dad changed with this issue, and the world-building of Pluto is next level. Plus that’s only half the issue, there’s STILL a great Eddie scene after!
Well. Absolutely adore these pages, can’t wait to read this arc!

If you don’t mind!
This book does everything an indie first should:
It’s oversized, which allows both the plot and story to actually begin.
It’s a stand-alone story with opportunity for more.
And it’s really, really good! Sets up a wonderful vibe with an instantly-recognizable character. And he has a great goal.
I can't say I liked it MORE than issue one, but I can say that you all absolutely killed it twice in a row. Such a great companion and alternative to issue one, building outward while also filling in the face on the other side of the coin. I refuse to shut up about this book and cannot wait for more
Two nerds in a nerd store
Had Brian Posehn in the shop today!!
News From the Fallout trade cover by Jeffrey Alan Love
Felt compelled to go over 300 characters on this one. I knew I’d love it, but I wasn’t expecting to be taken this aback by NEWS FROM THE FALLOUT. @christophcondon.bsky.social, Love, and Otsmane-Elhaou have an all-timer here. Here’s my short review:

Go buy the trade!
Congratulations!! So well deserved!
Congratulations!!
Congratulations!! So glad it's going so well!
Congratulations!! Hugely deserved!
No doubt that I will!
News From the Fallout graphic novel spine.
The News From the Fallout trade is gorgeous. Love the red on the spine, so striking in contrast to the cover. These have been the nerdiest things I’ll ever say.
Can’t wait to get back into this story and revisit what @christophcondon.bsky.social and Love did, very annoyed I missed this book monthly
Our short story, “An Accident”, in print in local zine fsm.
