My 11-year-old was set a school challenge of producing/ finding/ taking a photo of 'a lesser known "superhero" in the environmental world'... whilst many others chose very worthy activists, he went out & took this photo, basing his whole project around the humble stag beetle. 🥰
We took some of lovely friends, volunteers and supporters at Led by the Wild out for Christmas dinner as a Thank you for another fantastic year - our work would not be possible without the people around this table (and several others who weren't able to join us!)! 💚

Our Friday volunteer group have been making great progress on our dead hedge, incorporating laid trees, to create a barrier to allow conservation grazing on the edge of the woodland to nurture a natural transition between the wood & meadow, creating habitats & increasing biodiversity.
