Also finished reading With a Star in My Hand, it is a short YA novel written in verse about the life of the amazing poet Rubén Darío. I don’t usually read verse novels so this was a nice change. Was able to read it in one sitting and it was really enjoyable, would recommend!

Finished reading Hamnet. All I need to say is the hype is real with this book, it is beautiful and tragic, and so worth the read. I’m planning on watching the movie next!

Mental health so bad that I downloaded tik tok after three years off cause I needed a few moments of mindlessness. Which is drastic considering I don’t even have YouTube anymore.

Finished Continuum: French Science Fiction Short Stories. Wasn’t too bad, some stories were amazing, others were boring. I do highly recommend The Bubbles and So Far From Home, they make some good commentary on our civilizations. For those who like science fiction you should give this a try.

Just finished Thrice Married to a Salted Fish Vol. 2, love love love the conniving shou, and the lazy gong combo. Such a great series even if I did shed a few tears in the beginning of the book. Honestly excited and scared for Vol. 3.

My reading calendar from Storygraph, this is clearly my best month so far, but I’m hoping I could beat it in the upcoming months! My favorite books I read this month have to be Circe and After the God of War became my Concubine, though safe to say I liked all the books I read!

Currently reading After the Disabled God of War became my Concubine Vol. 2, and wow I am really enjoying it. I feel like so far it’s the perfect combination of cozy feelings and political intrigue! #danmei

This is interesting, I’m curious what do you think of the Three Hundred Years of longing translation cause I feel like I’ve recently seen a lot of discourse on how localized it is, like using energy instead of Qi, and Latin titles for characters instead of the traditional ones?
